Fr. William "Doc" Holiday
Fr. "Doc" Holiday was born and raised in the Greater Cincinnati area. After high school, he served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for over four years, following which he began a career in law enforcement. When called to the ministry, he integrated both his vocation to the Gospel and to law enforcement by serving as a police chaplain, a ministry he still maintains with the Chaplaincy of the Orange County Sheriff's Office. He assisted in the administration of this program from 1998 until his retirement from the Sheriff's Office in 2013. He served as Curate at the Cathedral of the Incarnation while in the Anglican Church in America (ACA) and the Traditional Anglican Communion (TAC). He was ordained to the Sacred Priesthood in the Catholic Church on December 15, 2012.
Fr. Holiday was awarded a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando) in 2002, and is a member of the Rosary Confraternity. He is deeply committed to the spirituality of Opus Dei, whose message is that work, family life, and other ordinary activities are occasions for spiritual union with Jesus Christ.
